How to Supply Photos for your Calendar

Have Photos? Upload 12 photos (or 13 if you want a different photo for the cover). If you need them to go in a specific order then call them Cover.jpg, January.jpg, February.jpg etc

Please make sure your Month photos are all Landscape. The Cover should ideally be Portrait.

Don't have Photos for your Calendar?

No problem. You can choose from a large list of photographs. Just get in touch.

Upload anything useful for your design, such as logos, photos, text, PDFs, Canva links, Word/PowerPoint files, AI-generated images or Figma files.

Using Canva?

If using Canva, please share the editable link that Canva gives you.

Avoid simply “saving as PDF” as this can cause layout, font or spacing issues.

AI-generated images

We generally advise against using AI-generated images for print unless they have been created at very high resolution and at the correct finished size.

AI images are often too low quality for print, difficult or impossible to edit properly and usually supplied without bleed. This can cause quality issues, cropping problems or delays while we check whether the file can be printed.

Figma

We generally advise against using Figma to create print-ready artwork.

PDFs exported from Figma can contain print-related issues. If your design was created in Figma, please upload high-resolution JPG files instead, ideally exported at the correct size and highest quality.

Tip: You can go directly to Step 2 if you do not have any files to upload and just want to give us text to place on your prints.

Step 2: Instructions to give to the Designer

Give any instructions and changes you want to give to the designer. If you don't any have artwork, please type all the text you require in your prints (with any specific colour, fonts, positioning).

What NOT to write:
- Do NOT give any delivery instructions here as they will not be seen. These should be given at the checkout
- Do not mention anything about splitting quantities up in to different designs. Most products are priced on a per design basis.

A note about the proof you will receive

Once you have submitted any files / instructions and paid for your order, we will do the following:

An initial check to make sure we have all the required information. If we have any concerns then we will contact you (by email/phone).
Once you have paid for your order, we put it through our unique Quality and Proofing Process.

It can take 1-2 working days for us to do the initial quality checks and to email you the first proof. However, in the majority of cases, you will probably receive proofs within 1 working day.

Note: For Express Orders, proofs are usually sent the same day as the order. You will be advised a proof approval deadline.

It can take longer than this time if there are issues with the quality or if we have to send out more than one proof. To avoid delays, please respond back quickly to quality/proof emails we send you. If you have not heard anything from us then please check your junk/spam email.

We do quality checks and proofing to ensure that the printing goes as smoothly as possible.

These are the steps we follow
- After you have submitted your business card or any other stationery order we will inspect your designs to ensure they are suitable for print. If we have any concerns with the quality then will get in touch via email.
- Where needed we try to provide free guidance and assistance to improve your designs, so as to achieve good quality print.
- We will email you a proof for all submitted designs giving you peace of mind ensuring that what we will be printing is correct.
- After seeing your email proof, you can request us to make further changes to your design which we can make free of charge. Once we have made the changes you requested, we will email you another proof for you to check. It can take up to a further 1 working day for us to email you another proof to inspect. It may take longer if you email us your changes after 4pm on any working day.
- We will only print once you have emailed us back saying you are happy with the proof that we have emailed you.
- If at any point you are not happy with the emailed proofs then you can cancel the order for a full refund. However, please remember that if you have emailed us confirming that you are happy with the proof, then you cannot make changes or cancel your order as we would have started the printing process.
- No proofs will be emailed to you if you design your business cards using our templates and our online business card design tool (since you can preview the proof online). Your order will go to print after it passes the quality checks which means that you cannot make changes or cancel your order as we would have started the printing process.

We will then email you a Proof for you to check (we will make further changes as you require and keep sending you proofs to check until you are happy). If you decide that you don't want to proceed and have not approved the proof then you can cancel for a full refund.
Once you are happy, we will print your order.

Important:

Technical Specifications (don't worry if you don't understand them)

Bleed:: 3mm outside each trim edge

Safe area (sometimes called a Quiet Area):: 15mm inside each trim edge

Colour Scheme:: CMYK (Full Colour)

Ideal Resolution:: 300 dpi

As stipulated, we would prefer your file to be in the CMYK colour scheme. Any files not in CMYK will be converted to CMYK.

Please note that changing a different colour profile (for example, RGB) to CMYK will change the printed colour.
