Material Description

This is a glossy clear (transparent) cling. This is thicker than sticker vinyl and used for temporary signage. Static in the cling is used to stick the sticker on to the surface. It is ideal for windows and glass. As there is no adhesive, it can be removed without any residue.
Clings should only be used indoors.

These removable glossy white vinyl stickers have a light adhesive, making them easy to apply and remove. Supplied on sheets in a range of sizes, they're suitable for smooth indoor surfaces. Waterproof and usable in temperatures from -30°C to +90°C. For best results, apply to a clean, dry surface between 10°C and room temperature.

Please note: When used on windows, the print will face inward and won't be visible from outside. If you need a design to show outward, please choose our Clear Vinyl Sticker or Static Cling options and select "Reverse Printed".

Material Description

These are glossy transparent (clear) vinyl stickers with a light adhesive, making them ideal for temporary use on smooth indoor surfaces such as windows, bottles, and product packaging. They are waterproof and suitable for use in environments ranging from -30°C to +90°C. For best results, apply to a clean, dry surface between 10°C and room temperature.

Please note: When applied to windows, the design will face inward by default and won’t be visible from the outside. For outward-facing designs, ask for it to be "Reverse Printed".

When will I Receive my Order? >

Phase 1 - Checking and proofing: Approximately 1-2 Working Days

We will put it through our free Check and Fix service to ensure that your order will print well. This process often involves our designers optimising your design by sharpening objects (redrawing them at times) and test prints to verify print quality. We are the only printer in the UK that offers this as part of the service.
We will then email you a proof to check. Once approved, we will start printing from the next working day.
Note: If you want to skip this phase then we may be able to put your order straight to print (at your risk). Just email us after placing the order.

Phase 2 - Printing time: 2-3 Working Days

Phase 3 - Delivery time: 0 to 3 Working Days

UK Postage time:
If you have opted for free delivery, then we will post your order using Normal Post or Similar. Once dispatched, delivery normally takes 1 to 3 working days. You also have the choice to change your Postage method to use a Next Working Day courier or Collect from us at the checkout.
Collect from branch:
You can organise your own collection from the branch. You can choose this at the checkout.

Types of Window Stickers

There are two types of Window Stickers (click each type to read more):

Standard Window Stickers (Decals)

These can either be applied to the outside of a window (or a smooth painted surface/metal or plastic) or in the inside of a window. For example shops normally order reverse printed Window Stickers that can be applied on to the inside of the window so that the print is looking out.

We can also cut Window stickers to any shape with a maximum size of just under 1100mm x any height.

There are 2 ways this can be printed:
1. On 1 transparent sheet or a white sheet (if applying to the outside of a window)

2. We can die cut your entire logo (or any other pattern as a sticker) so that any transparency in the logo is not present in the final sticker as we would have cut it out. This is also called "Cut Lettering" even though it can be any shape/object. Please contact us if you want us to do this.

Each sticker takes a similar time to stick.

How to Apply Window Stickers

Window stickers should only be applied to smooth, non porous surfaces, such as glass, metal, plastic, treated surfaces and painted walls. If applying to a painted surface, make sure that enough time is elapsed as per the paint manufacturer recommends before you stick the sticker on.

Make sure you the room temperature is between 10-21°C, , including the surface you will be sticking on to (e.g. Your window shouldn't be very cold).

The window stickers come in 2 layers:
a) The backing sheet (what the sticker is stuck on)
b) The sticker

1. Remove any dirt and (if this is not a transparent sticker - see note below) take a spray some soapy water (don't use a lot of washing up liquid) on to the surface. The purpose of spraying the surface is to prevent the sticker from adhering completely to the surface, thus giving you time to reposition or correct anything. Do not use a window cleaner as the residue may prevent the sticker from sticking. The soapy water will dry out naturally over the next few hours.

It is better to apply transparent (clear) stickers dry. Wetting the window before hand will cause the water to react with the water based adhesive causing it to look milky (although it should disappear once dry).

2. Remove the sticker from the backing sheet and stick on to the Window. As you stick the sticker, you may find some bubbles. This is perfectly normal. Take a credit card and working from the center of the sticker, work your way out. This will push out the bubbles.
Window Clings

These are usually used for temporary signage and can either be applied to the outside of a window (or a smooth painted surface/metal or plastic) or in the inside of a window. For example shops normally use Window Clings for promote Sales. It is very easy to reposition the clings as they don't contain any adhesive.

They can also be die cut to shape (as one piece).

How to Apply Window Clings

Window clings use static to bond to the surface and should only be applied on to glass. It is also possible to apply on to some smooth metals.

Make sure you the room temperature is between 10-21°C.

The window clings come in 2 layers:
a) The backing sheet (what the sticker is stuck on)
b) The sticker

1. Make sure the surface is dry and free from dirt.

2. Remove the backing sheet

3. Position the sticker. As you stick the sticker, you may find some bubbles. This is perfectly normal. Take a credit card and working from the center of the sticker, work your way out. This will push out the bubbles.
